The classic hangman word game comes alive in this contest of alphabet give and take. Definition was a staple of daytime Canadian television for 15 years from 1973-1989. Host Jim Perry provides a clue to a zany pun-filled puzzle and contestant teams then take turns guessing for a letter that is not in the puzzle and then for a letter that is in the puzzle. After successfully giving away a letter that is not in the puzzle and then taking a letter that is in the puzzle, contestants use the pun-based clue to decipher the puzzle solution.
